3️⃣ Preparation of vegetables and meat
In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of oil over medium heat.
Add the onion, carrot and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and fragrant.
Then add the red and yellow peppers.
Continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes, so that they remain slightly crunchy and well coloured.
Push the vegetables to the side of the pan and add the ground beef.
Cook it, crumbling well, 6 to 8 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Stir in the tomato paste, oregano, salt and pepper.
Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes to develop the flavours
4️⃣ Assembling the gratin
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a large bowl, mix:
cooked pasta
Beef and vegetable preparation
cheese sauce
Toss thoroughly so that the pasta is well coated.
Pour everything into a large casserole dish (or individual ramekins).
Sprinkle the top with the remaining shredded cheddar.
