Ingredients

  • Pasta (penne or rigatoni): 350 g
  • Sliced ​​Italian sausage: 450 g
  • Sliced ​​mushrooms: 225 g
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Small onion, diced: 1
  • Chopped garlic: 3 cloves
  • Thick cream: 250 ml
  • Chicken stock: 250 ml
  • Grated Parmesan cheese: 250 ml
  • Grated mozzarella: 250 ml
  • Dried oregano: 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme: 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped fresh parsley: 60 ml
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Preparation

1. Prepare and cook the pasta

Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water, following the package instructions, until al dente. Drain thoroughly and set aside.

2. Cook the sausages and vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced ​​Italian sausages and brown them until well colored. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

In the same pan, add the diced onion and sauté until translucent. Then stir in the minced garlic and sliced ​​mushrooms. Cook, stirring regularly, until the mushrooms are tender and have released their liquid.
