Step 5: Add the potatoes.
Add the potatoes and continue cooking, covered, for 20 minutes. (You can add the green beans now if you prefer them very tender.)
Step 6: Finish cooking the vegetables.
Stir in the green beans and simmer for another 15 minutes, until the beef and vegetables are tender.
Step 7: Add the frozen vegetables and serve.
Stir in the corn and peas, simmer for 5 minutes until heated through. Add the parsley and serve hot.
