1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Peel and cut the apples into small pieces.
3. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well between each addition.
5. Melt the butter and incorporate it into the mixture.
6. Add the apple pieces and mix gently so as not to crush them.
7. Pour the batter into a buttered and floured pan.
8. Bake for about 45 minutes, until the cake is golden brown and puffy.
